AI Impact

35%

Boost in productivity for Australian businesses using AI.

80%

Of companies cut costs with AI automation.

50%

Fewer regulatory risks with strong AI governance.

Where AI projects stall

AI strategy consulting decides where AI is worth deploying in your business, what has to be in place before it can be, and in what order. It covers readiness, governance, use case selection and adoption planning.

The reason the advisory step exists is that most stalled AI projects do not stall at the technology.

  • The data was not in a state the tool could use
  • Nobody had decided who was accountable for what the tool produced
  • Permissions had drifted for years, so turning the tool on exposed more than intended
  • The use case was chosen on enthusiasm rather than on frequency and cost
  • Licences were bought before anyone checked what they covered

Every one of these is knowable in advance. That is what the assessment is for.

Why Choose Us

Benefits of AI Strategy & Consulting

Expert guidance on where AI fits, what it depends on, and how to adopt it without creating new risk.

Increase efficiency and productivity

Automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows, starting with the work that is frequent and slow rather than the work that demonstrates well.

Ensure compliance and trust

Put AI governance in place that meets Australian regulatory expectations and gives stakeholders a clear answer on how AI decisions are made.

Unlock data-driven insights

Use predictive analytics and reporting to make faster decisions from data you already hold.

Enhance customer experiences

Deploy conversational AI and automation to improve response times and consistency.

Adopt with confidence

Move on AI in a sequence your team can absorb, rather than opening more workstreams than you can finish.
Solutions

Our AI Strategy & Consulting Services

We help businesses adopt AI while keeping security, compliance and long-term value in view.

AI-powered business automation

Automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows. We integrate automation into the systems you already run, so the change lands inside existing processes rather than beside them.

AI governance and compliance

Establish who is accountable for AI outputs, what information may be used, and how decisions are recorded. We align this to the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and to sector requirements such as the NDIS Practice Standards where they apply.

Predictive analytics and data insights

Turn the data you hold into forecasting and reporting that people act on. Real-time insight into trends and risks, built on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI where that is the right fit.

Conversational AI and chatbots

Improve customer and staff interactions with AI assistants that integrate across your platforms, reduce response times and handle the repetitive questions that currently reach a person.

Microsoft Copilot readiness and adoption

Microsoft Copilot answers using content the signed-in user can already open, so a rollout surfaces every permission that has drifted over the years. We review oversharing, apply sensitivity labels and establish what should be discoverable before the feature goes on, then plan adoption so the licences get used.

"Unlock the keys to thriving in the generative AI revolution with strategic insights and practical guidance from industry leaders."

Ongoing Support & Optimisation

We monitor and tune what we deploy, so it keeps working as your business changes.
Process

How We Deliver AI Strategy & Consulting

A structured approach that establishes what is possible before deciding what to build.

AI Readiness Assessment

We review your Microsoft 365 environment, your data estate and your permissions model, then identify where automation, analytics and Copilot would genuinely pay off. Most of the findings come from this stage.

Custom AI Roadmap

We build a plan aligned to your business goals, with use cases ranked on frequency, time cost, error tolerance and data readiness. Dependencies and licensing implications are named, so nothing surfaces halfway through.

Implementation & Integration

We deploy the automation, analytics and governance frameworks, and integrate them with the systems you already run.

Ongoing Support & Optimisation

We monitor, tune and update what is running, so it stays efficient and secure as the business and the technology change.
AI Advisory

AI advisory services: assessing readiness and identifying use cases

Readiness assessment establishes whether your environment can support AI at all, before anyone discusses use cases. In a Microsoft environment it covers six things.

Data and permissions

Where your business information lives, and who can currently reach it. This is the one that stops most Copilot deployments, because generative tools inherit existing access rather than restricting it.

Identity

Whether accounts, roles and conditional access are in a state where you can attribute actions to people.

Licensing

Which AI features your current subscriptions include, and which would need a change.

Process

Whether the work you want to accelerate is documented and repeatable, or whether it lives in people's heads.

Skills and capacity

Who owns the tool after the pilot ends.

Governance

Whether anyone has decided what the organisation will and will not allow.

Use case identification comes second, and it is a prioritisation exercise rather than a brainstorm. A use case is worth pursuing when the task is frequent, currently slow, tolerant of review, and supported by data you already hold in a usable state. A task that is rare, or where an error is expensive and hard to detect, is a poor first candidate however well the demonstration went.

The output is a short, ranked list with the dependencies named against each item. Most organisations end up with three to five candidates, not twenty.

Setup

Which AI tools are we talking about?

Most Australian small and medium businesses are choosing between a small set of Microsoft options rather than building anything from scratch.

Tool
What it does
Typical first use
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Drafting, summarising and searching across your own content
Document and email drafting, meeting summaries

Copilot Studio and AI agents

Assistants built on your own data and processes
Answering recurring internal questions
Power Automate

Rule-based and AI-assisted workflow automation

Approvals, handovers, routine notifications
Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
Unified analytics and reporting
Reporting that currently takes a person a day a month
Microsoft Purview
Data governance and protection for AI
Controlling what AI features can reach

Which of these is right depends on what your readiness assessment finds, not on which is newest.

AI strategy for small and medium businesses

Small and medium businesses do not need a scaled-down version of an enterprise AI programme. They need a much shorter one.

For an organisation of twenty to two hundred people, a workable AI strategy is a handful of pages: two or three prioritised use cases, the readiness work each depends on, a one-page governance position, and a sequence. It does not need a capability maturity model.

AI consulting for small businesses in Australia tends to produce the same practical outcomes:

  • Document and email drafting through Microsoft 365 Copilot
  • Approval and handover workflows through Power Automate
  • Reporting that currently takes someone a day a month

The expensive part is almost never the strategy itself. It is the data and permissions work the strategy uncovers, which is why the readiness assessment comes first.

Working with Kloudify in Sydney and nationally

Kloudify works with businesses across Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Delivery is remote, with onsite attendance when a piece of work needs it.

For AI advisory work that makes little practical difference, because the assessment happens inside your Microsoft tenant rather than in a room. Where onsite time does matter is the use case sessions, since sitting with the people who do the work produces better candidates than a call does.

Organisations in New South Wales can see our wider coverage on our Sydney IT support page. AI strategy sits within our managed services practice, and the delivery capability behind it is on our Data and AI page.

FAQ

Questions about AI Strategy & Consulting?

AI strategy consulting decides where AI is worth applying in your business, what has to be in place first, and in what order. We design AI work that automates repetitive tasks, improves decision-making and enhances customer engagement, with governance and compliance built in. The benefit is sequencing: knowing which three things to do first, rather than opening twenty workstreams.

An AI strategy consultant advises on where AI should be applied, assesses readiness, prioritises use cases, sets governance and produces a roadmap. They are distinct from an implementation partner, who builds and configures the systems once those decisions are made. Kloudify does both, but they answer different questions and should not be bought as one undifferentiated engagement.

We start with an AI readiness assessment covering your data, permissions, identity, licensing and processes. That establishes what your environment can support. We then build a custom AI roadmap aligned to your business goals, so the transition is sequenced rather than attempted all at once.

It means deciding who is accountable for AI outputs, what information staff may put into AI tools, how personal information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and what record exists of decisions an AI system contributed to. In a Microsoft environment much of this can be enforced through sensitivity labels, data loss prevention and Purview, rather than relying on written policy alone.

Our services cover AI-powered business automation, predictive analytics and data insights, conversational AI and chatbots, Microsoft Copilot readiness and adoption, and custom AI model development where a business problem needs it.

No. Readiness assessment happens before any licence decision, and one of its outputs is telling you whether Copilot is the right first step at all. Buying licences before assessing your permissions model is the most common reason a Copilot rollout disappoints.

We align AI tools to the infrastructure you already run, whether that is Microsoft 365, Azure OpenAI, Dynamics 365 or your own systems, so the result is a single working environment rather than another tool to manage separately.

Yes. We provide continuous monitoring, performance tuning and regular updates, so your AI systems keep pace with the business rather than degrading after go-live.
